Make Up Lecturer (FE) – Immediate Start

Location: Birmingham - Further Education College
Rate: £27.00 per hour (teaching) | £14.23 per hour (admin)
Contract: Temporary cover
Start Date: ASAP

We are seeking an experienced Make Up Lecturer to provide short-term cover due to a staff sickness absence. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified and passionate professional with experience teaching Make Up within a Further Education setting.

Role Overview

You will deliver practical and engaging sessions across Level 2 and Level 3 Make Up programmes, including Theatrical Make Up, while supporting students to achieve their learning objectives.

Timetable

Tuesday

• 09:00am - 2:30pm (less 20-minute break)
• Level 3 Practical Theatrical Make Up

Wednesday

• 09:00am - 4:00pm (less 30-minute break)
• Level 2 Practical Make Up

Thursday

• 10:45am - 12:15pm
• Level 3 Theatrical Make Up

Friday

• 09:15am - 10:45am
• Skills for Success
• 11:00am - 4:00pm
• Level 3 Theatrical Make Up

Additional Hours

• 4 hours administrative time per week
• Can be worked on Mondays or Thursday afternoons

Requirements

• Minimum Level 3 qualification in Make Up or a related subject
• Experience teaching Make Up qualifications within a Further Education environment
• Strong practical skills in theatrical and professional make up techniques
• Ability to engage and inspire learners across Level 2 and Level 3 programmes
• Teaching qualification desirable
